Simple way of using a lead image for promotion/branding on Twitter and on their website by Solid Steel Radio. Took this photo on my travels when walking through the badlands of Bedminister (Bristol) on a Sunday morning a few months back… proper street-artistry from Dan Kitchener…there is something to be said for street-art – it can surprise and blow you away whilst you are doing something mundane like going to the shops…

I have come across Hort’s work, specifically the Nike promotion ‘Witness’ with Lebron James. Basically an agency that really looks like that they still enjoy their work even though they are celebrating being 20 years old – reminds me of the energy of the work of Neasden Control Centre.
So it is great to see they have a free exhibition at the KK Outlet – (KesselsKramer) – found via the always on the money: It’s Nice That.

Latest Computer Arts ‘New Talent’ issue ‘ – all about those zesty lemons. Aside from the ‘idea’ I quite like the bright, punchy design. Designed by Paddy O’Hara and printed by Celloglas. Great film by Celloglas of how they made this cover.

Only hearing about these clips without seeing them I thought this was going to be a (ever so slightly) self-indulgent project by Sagmeister and Walsh…how wrong…just absolutely fantastic…
In short and without fully getting the whole brief – just a very creative way to explore a logo, (and what can be possible creatively within certain parameters) in this case Adobe. Seen via a number of sources…

Overall I would have scored this 3-2 to Walsh…

Second of the night of Love’s work for Johnnie Walker (Black Label). This creative – print ad and films are ‘being launched this month (Dec 2013) in China’. Ditto the 1st post. Work is featured on Whisky Intelligence – full press release from what I can gather – and Love’s own blog.
‘Filmed in Bangkok [by Jake Scott], the advert sets out to capture the big bold flavours…and features a “symphony” of exploding fruits, spices, flower petals and billowing smoke. The iconic Striding Man – introduced by LOVE as a contemporary character last year – is at the heart of the narrative once again.’
