Fuel RCA seems a really useful resource from what I have seen so far. First time I have checked out their site although I have been following them on twitter (@FuelRCA) for a while. Quite interested to know more about the story and journey of Cass Art and Angus Hyland’s partnership ‘to shake up the traditional art materials retailer’ that has been grown over the last 10 years. Love the current designs for Cass Art’s own product range of cartridge paper. This range seen via Graphic Exchange, more details via Pentagram (another post worth checking out has the full range of sketchbooks and pads).

Second post of the day, second of the year…
Having just sold a house that I lived in for 18 years, these touching illustrations would seem to me a lovely way to remember places you have lived in or do live in… Seen via Design*Sponge, the illustrations are by Rebekka Seale. They were a limited run, maybe Rebekka will do them again next xmas…anyhow for other illustrations you can buy, check out her Etsy shop.

A new year, a new term…
In lieu of making slight changes to the selection of content, here are some lovely illustrations via the Behance network to start the year, winter style… Illustrator is Yan Nascimbene. They remind me in sense of quality, and feel of Hergé’s illustrations for Tintin.

After the super success of their first Crafternoon the other month Thelma + Louise are putting on another Christmas – y afternoon. Essentially grown adults: cutting, sticking, making, sewing, buttons, fabric, ribbons, string, paper etc…etc.. Fingers crossed I can make it…anyhow check the link and book yourself a spot!
“Get into the festive spirit of a crafty, homemade Christmas by kicking off December with Thelma and Louise. As well as your DIY craft kit there will be lots extra of crafty supplies to play with and extra kits to buy if one just isn’t enough! We’re also going to have a stall selling our wares, which will make perfect Christmas presents, even if we do say so ourselves…and unlimited tea, cake and mince pies.”

Paperlux: Novum 11/11. Know very little about it other than the what is on the credits. All I know is that I want to get my hands on a copy…but it looks like it is only sold in Germany…hmmm….
Anyhow saw this via Graphic Exchange, just mindblowing skills in design, repro and commitment to a great product. The film of ‘the making of’ is lovely and upbeat. Enjoy.
